As the figure at the helm of British Cycling’s Olympic and Paralympic ambitions, Sara steers the course for Team GB’s continued, unparalleled success. A trailblazer in her own right – she was the first British female rider to take a medal in a World Cup race in Australia in 1999, and her remarkable five and a half years at England Netball saw the England Roses claim a historic gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games – Sara’s journey is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Other career milestones include six years as Performance Director at Archery GB; three years at UK Sport as a Performance Advisor, two years as a Business Manager in the City and three years as a police officer working in Nottingham inner city.

Presently, Sara sits on Manchester City Football Club’s Technical Advisory Board and on Skateboarding GB Board as a Non-Exec Director. Her education includes a BSc in Sports Science and Social Science and a MSc in Sports Science.

Sara brings a unique blend of expertise from the sports and business worlds, offering an in-depth perspective on high-performance coaching. Sara has firsthand experience and understanding of the coaching techniques that have propelled elite athletes to the pinnacle of success. This knowledge along with her passion for unlocking human potential and driving results has made her a sought-after speaker and mentor.

This is an unmissable opportunity to learn from a true visionary within performance, and a chance to gain incredible insight into guiding individuals and teams towards achieving extraordinary goals.

“You must ask: what is it you really need to train to match that what it takes to win?” – Sara Symington
