ELCAS Funding

Pro-Noctis is an accredited ELCAS provider.

We are delighted to be an ELCAS provider, meaning we offer funded ILM 5 and ILM 7 coaching and mentoring courses for service men and women.

ELCAS funding is a Ministry of Defence initiative, designed to help those in the military further their development or to transition into civilian life through providing financial support for professional courses. If you are currently serving in the armed forces, or have previously served, the Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service (ELCAS) scheme can help you to gain formal qualifications.

This scheme is something truly close to our heart at Pro-Noctis; several members of our team are ex-armed forces personnel, including our Founder and Managing Director, Phil, and our Head of Human Performance, Nathan. We know the challenges that can come when adjusting to post-military, especially when it comes to your work, career, and development.

Eligibility:

ELCAS funding is available to members of the UK Armed Forces, including regular and reserve personnel and those who have left the military. Eligibility criteria may vary depending on specific circumstances and service commitments, but typically you must have served for a minimum of four years to be eligible for a low tier of funding.

Application Process:

Eligible military personnel need to apply for ELCAS funding through the ELCAS website. The application process involves selecting an approved course or training program, submitting your application, and receiving confirmation of funding.

Funding Levels:

The amount of funding available through ELCAS may depend on the length of service and the number of years served. ELCAS provides a set amount of funding for each of the three separate entitlement levels, which can be used over a period of up to 10 years.

What can I do with my ILM qualifications?

An ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) qualification is designed to enhance leadership and management skills and is recognised worldwide. Depending on the specific ILM qualification you pursue, you will gain skills in areas like leadership, team management, coaching and mentoring, project management, strategic planning, and more. These skills can be applied across a wide range of industries and job roles.

ILM qualifications are particularly valuable if you aspire to or currently hold leadership or management positions in various industries. At Pro-Noctis, we can tailor aspects of our ILM qualifications are to suit specific career goals or industry sectors, such as healthcare, education, hospitality, or finance. This can open doors to leadership positions within those fields, and a steppingstone for further professional development and education.

Beyond career benefits, an ILM qualification can contribute to your personal growth by improving your communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
